Iran is prepared to resume nuclear discussions with the United States as long as it is treated with "dignity" and "respect", Tehran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat declared exclusively dialogue worked, and revealed new appeals had originated from intermediaries to resume negotiations with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran had not yet reached a point to permit the UN nuclear inspectorate to visit attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is walking a complex route since Iran does not want be perceived to be operating from a position of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more resilient militarily and mentally from the joint assault on its atomic facilities in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to process nuclear material domestically that it will never give up" – the main reason of the impasse in the previous talks.

Earlier Talks Suddenly Concluded

The earlier sessions of discussions between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with US support, targeted Iranian nuclear sites in a fortnight-long engagement that culminated with the American leader asserting the locations had been destroyed. Afterward, Western states used their authority to restore global restrictions, but Iran maintains they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Suggested

Tehran representatives stated they felt they had attained a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was settled an Iran-based consortium with US participation could process nuclear material. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since local refinement would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could function within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. Representatives stated three times they had reached agreement with Trump's special envoy the American negotiator only for the agreement to fall apart due to "spoilers in Washington".

Existing Status

"In case they address to the Iranian people with the tone of dignity and honor, they will receive a reply in the same language."

Recovery and Reconstruction

In what is described by Tehran representatives as the struggle of restoration and recovery, Araghchi claimed he was certain Iran's military capacities "are much stronger than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been reestablished. We gained multiple understandings from this conflict; we have identified our personal limitations and the vulnerabilities of the adversary."

He continued: "We effectively endured this war. Our atomic expertise, which they intended to eliminate, continues to exist. The sites and machinery, if eliminated, will be rebuilt; what is crucial is the resolve of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but were unable to destroy. The nation of Iran have grown more powerful, more cohesive, and more backing of the administration and the nation in the aftermath of this invasion."
